Welcome Home Mom and Dad!

We survived our weekend without our little girl! I know I have a bunch of KU Fans reading but there is nothing like being in Lincoln on Game Day. It was such a beautiful day and the perfect weekend for a get-a-way. We had so much fun. Tylee was apparently as good as good can be. And I don't think Lindsey would lie to me.

It was so good to see her on Sunday but I thoroughly enjoyed the break. I came back on Sunday with the realization that there is nothing better than having a child. It isn't that I didn't know that before...but this weekend confirmed it. We were able to get away for the weekend and resume life as it was pre-pregnancy/pre-baby. I know that we are lucky because we have family close-by that allows us to get out and do things and I am so appreciative of that. I just feel like my life is fufilled now. What is better than going away for the weekend, having a great time, knowing Tylee is taken care of, and coming home to our beautiful baby girl? I can't think of much.
